Purpose driven
I wake up every day wanting to learn more. This drives me to be a better designer and facilitator.
My purpose is to make a difference for my audience. I live to have a positive impact and create memorable experiences. With facilitation, coaching and parenting you get to see your impact live in the moment. It's so rewarding. Feedback of my design work gives me the same buzz.
I believe having a facilitation background helps me design FOR my audience. It's what I love to do.
My creative process
Discovery
This involves a review of your current processes, the way your people do things and your pain points.
Using a facilitative consulting style, we’ll have a conversation about what your people are currently doing and what we need to do to take them from good to great.
We will talk about the impact we can have on knowledge, skills and behaviours. This is also where we’ll decide what can be achieved in your time frame and budget.
Design
From the discovery phase, we’ll look at a variety of different options that deliver. Learning happens in different forms and knowledge can be shared in different ways.
The design will be tailored to your learner’s environment and your business operations. It can take the form of instructor-led training, the creation of job aids, online learning, video campaigns or a communications strategy.
Ideally, it will be a blend that ensures your learners have the tools, resources or experiences they need to take their knowledge and skills to the next level and deliver the behaviours you want to see.
Delivery
With a passion for making a difference, seeing it through is what makes my job exciting. This is where our conversations become reality.
This is where we facilitate and empower others to shine and become great at what they do.
The solution will deliver a greater self awareness for the audience. They will have new skills and behaviours and be on the path to greatness!
My consulting and facilitation tools are Mentimeter, Microsoft Office, MBTI® and my inclusive and engaging approach to learning. Not to mention my marsupial good looks!
The design tools I use are Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Powtoon, Adobe Creative Cloud and my wild imagination.
